Marcus Cote

President & Managing Partner

With 15 years of commercial and corporate banking experience, Marcus Cote has advised entrepreneurs, public and private equity-owned companies on funding organic growth, acquisitions, divestitures, value creation, and succession-related events. As the President and Managing Director of Fifteen North, he leverages his extensive background in financial advisory to help business owners optimize their capital structure, increase profitability, execute wealth preservation strategies, and undertake transformational capital projects.

Over his career at organizations including GE Capital, RBC, Roynat Capital, and BDC, Marcus has executed over $1 billion in senior and junior debt transactions.

Alexandra (Alex) Barlow is a seasoned economic development advocate and business advisor with over 15 years of experience in government incentives. Her passion for disruptive technologies has helped secure over $300 million in funding for Canadian entrepreneurs. Over her career, Alex has partnered with diverse clients, including StanPac, FGF Brands, Chudleighs, Ippolito, Premium Brand Holdings, and Tim Horton’s.

Before joining Fifteen North, Alex held senior roles at Mentorworks, FedDev Ontario, OMAFRA, and most recently, as Vice President of Programs at the Canadian Food Innovation Network, providing her with a nuanced understanding of the government incentives landscape.
