Along with the financial and management capabilities of the investor, funding awarded is calculated on the economic benefits to Ontario including the number and wage rates of resulting job creation, positive economic impact on other provincial organizations, investment in innovative and advanced manufacturing technologies, resulting export opportunities, reduction in greenhouse gases, and probability of incremental investment.
